I need to travel out of US urgently because of family emergency.
1) Can I get emergency AP from local/district ofices with supporting documents
2) I saw that I can travel until I get my AP approved.Has any oine denied entry because of they travelled out of US while ap processing is pending.Any experiences..

I work for company A in india which has a subsidary company "B" in US.
On "B"'s request i worked in US for company B from July 2006 to Nov 2006 (for which i have valid pay checks).
I went back to India and worked for A till June and i came to US again to work for Company B.
Now as soon as i entered US, i have applied for a premium H1 company transfer to Company C.
Now i got a query to submit my Pay checks which i do not have as i resigned Company B after coming to US.
Please suggest me whats the ideal way to answer this query...

Hello,
Recently I applied for AP. It was approved on Oct 20, 2009 but when I got the document from USCIS I found that the effective date of my AP is from 12/20/2009 to 12/19/2010. My question is,
1. I want to go to India on 26th Nov and return on 20th December. Some of my friend told me that I can travel between 12/20/2009 to 12/19/2010 not not before 12/20/2009. Is it correct.
2. My understanding was I can go to India before effective date which is 12/20/2009 and can return on or after 12/20/2009. Is this correct.
Please respond as I want to go to India on Nov 26th 2009 due to some emergency.

I have to file for I-485 along with EAD and AP, I live in Phoenix and I am applying for 485 based on an approved I-140 based on NIW. Please let me know if I have to file in the Phoenix lockbox or send it to Nebraska.

Your I-485 will not go forward unti they receive the 140 approval.
I-485 petition will be undated automatically as soon as the corresponding I-140 is approved.
As far as I know, you don't have to inform uscis about your I-140 approval.

I am not sure what is so important in this to answer.
As long as thay had sent the finger prints to you, you should be OK. There is no particular pattern in which they send the EAD cards. So, no body can answer your question about when will you get the EAD. Just pray and watch. If it is more than 90 days since you have applied for your EAD, then you may contact your local office to expedite the process.

The reversal that they are talking about is the July02 bulletin that said that they will not be accepting any applications as for the bulletin that came out in June for the Month of July (where the PD's were current). Nothing to worry about. Relax and continue with your filings. :)

1. H1B 6 years completing in Jul 2009. My firm will apply for extension in March time frame
2. I have applied for I-485 and have EAD + AP.
I am planning to travel to India for a week on AP sometime in May. I have the following Qs on this
1. Can I travel to India with AP when H1B extn is pending.
2. Will I face any issue while entering the US if my H1B is denied (or) there is an RFE on my appln?
Please answer these for me.

Mar'09 : RFE responded with the requested information
Apr 10, 2009 : USCIS Denied H1B Extension petition.
I understand from my employer that I can no longer be on the US payrolls and that I've to leave the country in 180 days.
Is Motion to Reopen (MTR) / Appeal is an option to legally stay in US ? If MTR is submitted, can I continue to work for the employer / client and get paid ?
Appreciate your inputs in this area.

Family based green cards take a longish amount of time 5 yrs or so and your wife cannot enter US in that period. So if you plan to live with your wife in the US in the mean time here is an idea you can consider:
Give up your green card, then come back with H1 and your wife on H4 then reapply - you might get your green cards in 3-4 months because your 140 has an older priority date.
Just an idea... no legal basis. All the best!
